BOOK NOW

5 Hour, Full Day Experience - Beginner to Intermediate - $220 per person
4 people per class - This guarantee’s the best experience

Welcome to my signature class! Over 4-5 hours, I’ll guide you through all the steps of how to hand build your very own vase out of Australian clay!

This workshop welcomes everyone! From complete beginners to intermediate clay enthusiasts. I’ll guide you through the art of coiling a vessel. Coiling is an ancient pottery technique aka hand-building—which is perfect for creating refined, structural vessels with a personal touch only human hands can leave.

For those of you that have made a pot before and ever wondered how to achieve greater symmetry, smoother surfaces, more complex forms, or larger, sturdier pots, this is the workshop for you. Join me and let’s elevate your clay work together!

VALUE / WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • All Equipment: Clay, hand tools, glaze, boards & 2x firings (I glaze & fire all pots after the workshop is over & they are completely dry)

  • You will leave with foundational skills that can be applied to make more pots, big or small!

  • A take home info pack to refer back to what we cover during the workshop!

  • Boutique class sizes, for optimal time to work directly with me on your vision and technique.

  • A 10% discount towards your next workshop with me (Redeemable for 1 year after purchase)

  • A finished ceramic artwork, full of memories - that it yours to treasure.

Please allow extra time if you would like to heavily decorate your vase. The allocated class time is focused on building, structure, handles and shaping of the vessel for firing!

POTS TAKE 5-6 WEEKS TO GO THROUGH THE FIRING & GLAZE FIRING PROCESS

Pick up of your finished work is your responsibility. Delivery available for an extra cost.

Make sure to bring an apron or a change of clothes so you can get out of potentially muddy clothes at the end of the day!

You'll also need to wear enclosed shoes to the studio - gotta protect our toes from sharp & hot things!

And bring any food or drink you'd like for the duration of the day! No one feels creative when they're hungry!

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Refunds: Full payment is required at the time of booking. Refunds will only be issued if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the start of the workshop.

Cancellations: To cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 48 hours before the scheduled workshop. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule your class, just ask! I’ll do my best to find a new time for you, though during busy seasons I might be booked up. To help everything go smoothly, please try to pick the best date for you when you book. Thanks for understanding! 😊

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE OR MISS MY CLASS?
Just a quick heads-up: I don’t offer make-up classes or refunds for missed sessions. If you’re a bit late, it could affect your final artwork & the flow of the class—so try to arrive a few minutes early! That way, you can settle in, relax, and get the most fun and creativity out of your workshop time. I can’t always fit make-up time in at the end to make up for lateness, depending on my schedule, so being on time really helps!!

PARKING: On street parking, in peak summer season you can park in my personal driveway - 2 car spots available

GETTING TO THE STUDIO: You can travel to Bundeena via public transport! A ferry service is available from Cronulla to Bundeena! The studio itself is a 10-minute walk from the jetty. It is mostly an uphill walk, although that’s fantastic news for the journey home!

STUDIO ADDRESS: Casey Anne Art, 24 Baker St, Bundeena, NSW 2230
